【August to September 2025】WSET® Level1 Award in Sake（English）

If you're keen to explore the world of sake, then WSET's new Level 2 Award in Sake could be the right course for you.

This one-day course is designed for those who are new to sake or have no prior knowledge. You'll learn the essential foundations of sake, including the main styles and types, while gaining a deeper understanding of the key factors that influence its flavor and aroma.

The course covers fundamental topics such as the classification and categorization of sake, an introduction to tasting techniques, production methods of various sake styles, label terminology, and basic principles of pairing sake with food.
By passing the certification exam at the end of the course, you can earn a WSET-recognized qualification in just one day.

The exam consists of 30 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 45 minutes. A score of 70% or higher is required to pass. Successful candidates will receive an official certificate and a WSET lapel pin.
※To arrange the exam with WSET headquarters, the application deadline is 10 business days before the course date.

※ From August 2025 onward, certificates will be issued in digital format only (printed certificates will no longer be available). While the certificate will be digital, the lapel pin will still be sent by mail.
