An intensive 3-day English Course
for WSET Level2® Award in Sake
2026 March Class
※The standard course typically takes about 3 months.
Completion of the WSET® Level 1 Award in Sake is NOT required to apply for this course.
The Level 2 Sake Qualification is designed for those seeking to gain the essential knowledge needed to understand sake. In this course, students explore how the ingredients used in sake brewing are processed and combined to produce a wide range of sake styles. Over the course of just three days, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of sake based on global standards.
This course is ideal for those who are new to sake studies or who lack confidence in tasting. Upon successfully passing the certification exam in the final session, participants will receive a certificate and badge.
The Exam will be held on the third day of the course (March 22).
The exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, and there is no tasting component.
Upon passing the exam, you will receive a WSET Certificate and a Lapel Pin.

WSET Sake Specialist
Born in Chiba in 1982, Natsuki began her career at the HR consulting firm Link and Motivation in Tokyo. After two and a half years, she entered her maternal family’s field of sake, training at Hasegawa Saketen. In 2009, she moved to the UK and worked as a sake sommelier at London’s acclaimed modern Japanese restaurantsZUMA andROKA.
Since 2013, she has been based in London, providing sake education and PR consultancy across Europe. She played a key role in launching the sake qualifications at theWine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and now serves as aWSET Sake Specialist, involved in educator training and the development of three levels of courses. To date, the WSET sake programs have welcomedover 23,000 candidates across more than 20 countries worldwide.
As a sake consultant, she curates sake programs and events for Michelin-starredEndo at Rotunda,Sushi Kanesaka London, andKioku by Endo &Kioku Bar at Raffles Hotel. Her expertise has been featured on BBC Radio 4 and in theFinancial Times, Monocle, Telegraph and Drinks Business..
Since 2011, she has also served as Panel Chairman for the sake division at theInternational Wine Challenge (IWC), the world’s largest sake competition.
