Overview You will gain a basic understanding of wine fundamentals and styles, enabling you to confidently explain them. You will acquire the knowledge and foundational tasting skills necessary to assess analytically and objectively. You will acquire the skills to logically assess wines by building a solid foundation of specialized knowledge.

Course Fees are 93,500 yen (tax incl.) for Level 2 (9 sessions) and 187,000yen (tax incl.) for Level 3 (18 sessions). They are priced reasonably for its comprehensive and rich content.

Included in the course fee are: Textbook, Mock Exam, Exam fee, and certificate and lapel pin for those who succeeded.

Thorough preparation for successful short written questions, which play a crucial role in passing the exam.

How well you perform in a short written answer exam is crucial. These types of questions tend to be more challenging compared to multiple-choice questions. At Académie du Vin, we provide a perfect environment to thoroughly prepare for short written answer questions.

Two additional sessions, namely a mock exam and a commentary on the mock exam, have been included in the course program to enhance exam preparation. The total number of sessions, including the exam, is now 18.

Live Streaming Class

In response to customer feedback regarding the lack of nearby wine schools, we have introduced live streaming classes that maintain the same level of quality as in-person classes.

  • Whether you prefer to use a computer or a smartphone, you can easily join and engage in class
    Our Live streaming classes are conducted using the Zoom web conferencing tool, enabling you to join from your computer or smartphone at the designated class times, mirroring the structure of traditional in-person classes.
  • In-depth and informative tasting sessions
    Tasting sessions are conducted following the same format as our in-person sessions. The tasting wines will be shipped in small bottles for all the lecture sessions, arranged to be delivered prior to the scheduled live streaming classes.

    ※LWSET Level3: There will be no wine delivery for Session 15 (Sparkling Wine), Session 16 (Mock Exam), and Session 18 (Exam). The sessions will be in-person at either Aoyama or Osaka school.
    ※WSET Leve 2: There will be no wine delivery for Session 8 (Exam). The session will be in-person at our Aoyama school.

  • You will have access to recorded sessions.
    The live streaming classes will be recorded and made available for a specific period of time, allowing you to attend all sessions at your convenience regardless of scheduling conflicts.

    ※Customers are responsible for any data usage charges that may incur.
    ※WSET Level3 Session 16(Mock Exam ) will not have a recorded session.
