WSET Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines and Spirits

L’Académie de Vin Tokyo is delighted to offer for the first time an English language course leading to the internationally-recognised UK Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET)’s Advanced Certificate examination. The course, which is accompanied by the excellent book Exploring the World of Wines & Spirits, is designed to provide comprehensive coverage of wines and spirits and will take you on a whirlwind tour of the world of wine as well as providing insights into tasting technique and how wine is made. Lessons are each two hours long and include a lecture on each particular region and a tasting of six representative wines. The course should appeal to both those with a serious interest potentially looking to pursue their studies to WSET Diploma level and beyond - and equally to those simply looking for something tangible to show for all the empty bottles!
Please note that it is absolutely fine to start a course halfway through - you simply take the lessons that you have missed when the course re-runs. Similarly if you are unable to attend a particular session, provided that you advise the school in advance, you are entitled to retake during the next instalment of the course.
