The Wonderful World of Wine

Calling all wine lovers who are interested in learning a bit more about the splendid elixir that lies behind the label. Our new Wonderful world of wine course is a six seminar series designed to provide a comprehensive background to the what, where, who and when of wine. The course starts by looking at the origins of wine, how wine is made and tasting technique, then continues by looking at the world of wine through the prism of its main grape varieties, finishing on a suitably celebratory note with something sparkling. Each lesson is two hours long and provides the essential knowledge as well as a tasting of 5-6 fine wines.
Please note that it is absolutely fine to start a course halfway through - you simply take the lessons that you have missed when the course re-runs. Similarly if you are unable to attend a particular session, provided that you advise the school in advance, you are entitled to retake during the next instalment of the course.
